Job Title: Investment Manager or Supervisor

Department: Finance

Function: Investment & Treasury

Job Role: To carry out a range of activities/tasks/analysis for the treasury and Investment function as per company’s standard operating procedure and protocol and ensure completion of all activities within stipulated framework as per company’s policies and procedures.

Key Activities:

Work closely with the CFO in working capital management, monitoring liquidity requests, balancing of ST & LT Investments based on business requests.
Prepare annual investment plan and confirm that investments are within the approved investment matrix and insurance investment law.
Monitor and review financial information to forecast business, industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.
Updating with market developments, new investment products and all other areas that can affect the markets, eg. movements in the regional & global markets
Interprets and summarizes data describing current and long-term trends in investment risks and economic influences pertinent to investment.
Recommends investment timing and buy-and-sell orders to the Management/Executive Committee.
May recommend modifications to Management’s investment policy.
Making presentations and recommendations as to which funds should be included, terminated.
Monitors and ensures that all investment portfolios are in compliance with CMA regulations and other relevant authority.
Conducting regular meetings with the Management to discuss issues arising from the Investment Function
Work with the Finance Team to ensure the efficient management of liquidity and transfer of funds and assets to and from existing, new, and terminated fund managers.
Review & follow up for requests from appointed fund managers & analyze their investment performance.
Consolidate overall Investment holding position of the company depicting risks & exposures for different markets/sectors.
Develop & Use Financial models for tracking Investment performance, predicting future Investment performance and provide recommendation.
To analyze cash flow data and provide inputs for management decision and various lines of business.
Education / Certifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/or Business administration

- MBA specializing in Finance is preferable.

- Completion or enrolment in recognized professional certificates (CA, CPA, CFA, ACCA or any reputable finance or investment professional certificate)

Experience:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience in investment and financial analysis with a minimum of 3 years in a leading rule managing portfolio of diversified investments
